Job Title:  Project Manager - Identity and Access Management (IAM)

The Project Manager is responsible to work closely with the customer and related information technology disciplines to deliver a product according to customer requirements. Key responsibilities include: project management, resource planning, risk analysis, vendor management, budget management, time management, status updates, and change management.

Main Responsibilities Includes:

  • Work with stakeholders and vendors to deliver the Identity Access Management (IAM) roadmap in a phased and iterative approach
  • Work internally with the various stakeholders to promote the IAM Program, and to understand their requirements, enterprise IT standards and other considerations that influence how IAM solutions and services should perform and consistently operate within NLG
  • Participate in solution architecture design; lead security efforts assisting with the integration and initial implementation of IAM solutions
  • Achieve IAM architecture compliance on requirements, including: Sarbanes-Oxley, global data privacy requirements, as well as state and federal regulations
  • Serve as the IAM subject matter expert, trusted advisor; provide advisory and consulting services as needed
  • Stay abreast of new IAM security technologies and integrate into security architecture design when appropriate to effectively manage overall total cost of ownership

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or 6 years related current experience
  • 3 years or more of related work experience
  • 1 - 2 years of healthcare experience

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience running an IAM program or project, especially in technologies related to the following IAM lifecycle processes: user provisioning, access management, access governance/access recertification, federation/single sign-on, privileged user management, and preferably experienced in identity-as-a-Service IDaaS) technologies
  • Experience in crafting easy to understand messaging and automate Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance and deployment dashboards
  • Familiarization and subject matter expertise with identity federation protocols (i.e. SAML2) and common frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL and NIST
  • Experience with IAM data model, data warehousing concepts and new IAM frameworks such as OAuth/OpenID Connect, OATH, SCIM, CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker, i.e. CloudLock), IDaaS (e.g. Okta, OneLogin) tool sets

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adapt new ideas and concepts, and to work independently or as part of the team to work on multiple tasks
  • Ability to multi-task and provide deliverables within fixed timelines and under pressure, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
  • Demonstrated experience with fundamentals, principals, and processes related to change control for information systems
  • Knowledge of testing fundamentals, the creation of test plans, and processes to ensure the identification, tracking, and remediation of bugs, errors, and defects
  • Experience supporting software and hardware for business use, analyzing problems and assisting customers with issue resolution, and exercising best practices to monitor and conduct preventive and routine maintenance on business systems
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure components including desktop/server-class hardware, software, network and telephony
  • Demonstrated understanding of information system security fundamentals and principals, including security protocols, encryption and access management to ensure adherence to regulatory/compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of basic analytics/statistical principles, and the ability to synthesize complex information into an easy to understand manner
  • Ability to work with customers and vendors to analyze problems, determine appropriate courses of action, and identify root causes and resolutions
