ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Setup and maintain Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target
  • Analyze data sets using appropriate statistical techniques and tools (e.g. R, Python), linking diverse sources where required
  • Creating data visualizations (e.g. using Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint), presenting findings and implications to stakeholder audience. Actively looking for ways to share insights with a broader internal audience.
  • Apply knowledge of social science and ecommerce practices to create and refine UX metrics, user behavior models, and/or algorithms (including collaborating with other researchers to design research to augment quantitative results, identifying areas within products for instrumentation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to turn quantitative insights into innovative solutions for future implementations
  • Experience with usability and accessibility
  • Work closely with various stakeholders (e.g. product, design, development) to identify measures to put in place to monitor experience quality in field
  • Be a customer advocate, with a familiarity of competitive experiences
  • Be on top of the latest industry trends, and communicate to the team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or 14 - 18 years equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred
  • 8-12 years of relevant work experience or a Master's degree and 6-10 years of experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; Ability to adapt to ESI proprietary systems
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry; experience in a Corporate setting (preferred)
  • Acute knowledge of the non-profit, philanthropic and educational landscape
  • Knowledge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); Demonstrated experience interacting with community, cultural and civic organizations, governmental entities, and other key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to see projects through to completion, perform independently, work responsively; collaborate internally and externally
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines ability to prioritize
  • Ability to design and implement strategies and communication plans around community programs to influence opinions, change behaviors, engage employees, and recruit the next generation workforce
  • Strong oral and written communications skills; the talent to speak in public and make effective group presentations
  • Demonstrated professional experience and notable achievements in the areas listed above
  • Experience managing partnerships with non-profit agencies, educational institutions and civic institutions
  • Highly-skilled project management and strategy development skills
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects with thorough follow-through and outcome measurement.

We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer  that will be expected to work closely with data teams in other parts of the organization, the product team, and the user experience team to identify quantitative markers of the user experience. You should have experience working a problem from start to finish - defining the problem, identifying the data needed to address the problem, locating data, building the necessary model(s), and communicating the results.

We need a strong Digital Analytics Engineer to help our design and product teams get the data they need to make decisions. You will be asked to generate and test ideas that give us a deeper understanding of user behavior - this includes helping to create user profiles, model customer journeys, identify and refine UX metrics, etc. Data visualization and strong presentation skills (in addition to strong statistical skills) are key in this role to help support design decisions at scale.
